REMINGTON NEVADA PARTNERS WITH TERRIBLE HERBST
LAS VEGAS (August 9, 2017) — Remington Nevada, a premier commercial land development company in the Southwest, has embarked on a joint venture with Terrible Herbst Inc., one of the largest Chevron franchisees in the United States, to build Terrible Herbst gas stations and convenience stores throughout Southern Nevada.
“We are excited to work with a great local organization that shares the same high standards and passion for the community that we do,” said David DelZotto, Founder and President of Remington Nevada. “The Herbst family has created such a strong and positive brand across the country, and that is largely due to consistently delivering high-quality services and products.”
The duo has already piloted the partnership by collaborating on the opening of two Terrible Herbst gas stations in the past six months – the first located at Oso Blanca and Durango, and most recently one at Desert Inn and Rainbow, which opened on June 30. A third is expected to open in Henderson’s Inspirada master-planned community early next spring.
“The partnership is a natural and strategic fit for us,” said Tim Herbst, President of Terrible Herbst Inc. “With Remington’s expertise in development and ours in operations, together we can efficiently discover, develop and provide services that our growing community needs.”
The partnership between Remington Nevada and Terrible Herbst Inc. is expected to yield another dozen gas stations, specifically in communities that are newer or void of similar services. Each gas station creates approximately 10-12 full time jobs for the local economy.
