David DelZotto, founder and President of Remington Nevada, has been passionate about the real estate and land development industries for more than 30 years, both in Canada and the United States. His initial career began in Toronto while working in the family business, Tridel Corporation, as part of the Development/Planning team. During his tenure at Tridel, David was involved in managing and presiding over the development and construction of single-family homes, commercial subdivisions, high rise residential construction and residential lot development.
In 1992, David moved to Las Vegas from Toronto and started Remington Homes, an award winning custom home builder. Throughout the next two decades, David acquired land in Nevada, Arizona and California for the purpose of developing residential communities, During this time period Remington Homes, rezoned, engineered and mapped more than 3,000 single family lots, which were either sold to home builders such as KB Home, Centex, Pulte and DR Horton, or built by Remington Homes.
David has built outstanding relationships among clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors and tenants alike. These connections helped David expand into the commercial/retail marketplace, and in 2012, Remington Nevada was created, Remington Nevada currently has close to 800,000 square feet of retail shopping centers either under construction or in development phases in Southern Nevada and Phoenix metropolitan areas.
David remains involved in the family business as a Board member of The DMS Group, The DMS Group is one of Canada’s leading real estate service organizations with more than 100 different clients, over 18,000 units, 21 million square feet, 91,000 acres of land and more than 300 staff members.
David graduated in 1998 from York University, Toronto, Ontario with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Urban Planning and Business.
