Boulevard Mall in Las Vegas is spawning a separate shopping center in its parking lot, encompassing the property's vacant Sears and Sears Auto Center stores..

“There isn’t any other potential ground-up opportunities for a mile or two in any direction. When the area is going through a resurgence and you have a 17-acre piece of property just sitting there with nothing going on, it’s a wonderful opportunity to build something brand new and get new tenants in there,” said Stan Wasserkrug of Remington Nevada, co-developer of the new Spanish style center with Boulevard Ventures.

The project will cover 17 acres of the mall’s site at the southeast corner of Maryland Parkway and Desert Inn Road.
